Township Manager Arch Liston joined Galloway in February 2012 after former manager Stephen Bonanni retired. Liston now heads to Atlantic City as their City Administrator. Liston's departure leaves Galloway Township to search for their fourth Manager since 2010.
Galloway Officials confirmed in December 2013 that they were shocked to learn of Liston's decision to leave Galloway Township. Officials learned through the Media of Liston's nomination by Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian to become City Administrator for Atlantic City.
Mayor Don Purdy announced to Galloway Patch that Chief of Police Patrick Moran will serve as Township Manager while they transition to a new Manager. A decision that may not be permitted under Galloway's Form of Government.
Councilman Robert Maldonado confirmed to Galloway Township News that Purdy denied reports he publicly stated Moran would become the Township Manager, yet Purdy was also quoted in The Current newspaper stating the same regarding Moran becoming Manager.
A deadline for applications was not listed on the advertisement, only that the ad would be removed from the League's website on February 1, 2014.

Neither of them will work with the 3 amigos sitting up there. The head of them already got ride of Jill and backstabbed Henny. What do you expect?
I am a dedicated Township employee and I would love to see Henshaw back in the drivers seat for sure!!!
