Suspect Arrested in Vehicle Burglaries and Stealing a Vehicle in Galloway

The Galloway Township Police Department investigated numerous vehicle burglaries and a stolen vehicle, which occurred last evening in the area of Arbutus Avenue and Magnolia Avenue. 

After reading our Facebook post regarding these incidents a concerned resident provided a suspect description, which was followed up on by Det. Bryan Casey and Ofc. Ronald Gorneau.  While canvassing the area a suspect matching this description was located in the area of Rt. 30 and 7^th Avenue.

Galloway Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting a Child

On October 22, 2018, a Galloway Township man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.  

Joseph Luna, 30, was arrested at the Atlantic County Superior Court in Atlantic City as a result of an extensive investigation.  He was charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Showing Obscene Materials to a Child.  He was lodged at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

The investigation was handled by Det. Matthew Worth and DSFC John Kelly of the Criminal Investigations Division.  The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office assisted with the investigation and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
