Narcotic Investigation in Pleasantville Leads to Arrests, Seizure of Drugs, Gun, Cash and Vehicle

PLEASANTVILLE — A narcotics investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office resulted today in the arrests of a Pleasantville man and woman, and in the seizure of a large amount of cocaine and cash, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
At the conclusion of a month-long investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns & Narcotics Unit, today members of that unit, Atlantic County SWAT, and the Pleasantville Police Department, executed a search warrant at 150 Wellington Avenue, Pleasantville.

The narcotic investigation led to the seizure of over 90 grams of cocaine, a loaded 9mm handgun, over $45,000.00 in cash and a 2008 Lincoln Navigator.
Arrested were Wallace Knowles, 32, and Ilove McKenzie, 38, both of 150 Wellington Avenue, Pleasantville.
Knowles and McKenzie were charged with Distribution of Cocaine over 1⁄2 ounce, Possession of Cocaine over 1⁄2 ounce, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon while Committing a Crime and Distribution of Cocaine within 500 feet of the Balfour Avenue Community Building.
Knowles was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $150,000.00 cash bail. McKenzie was lodged at the same facility on a $50,000.00 bail, cash or bond.
