On Saturday, February 15, 2014 at approximately 8:50 a.m., Galloway Township Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Cologne Avenue and Aloe Street.
According to Police, Margaret Stringer, 51, of Hammonton was operating a 2001 Pontiac Montana traveling North bound on Cologne Ave. Valerie Sye, 57, of Waterford Works, was operating a 2008 Chevy Impala traveling East bound on Aloe St.
Sye failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the driver's side of Stringer. According to Police, Stringer then ran off of the roadway and struck a utility pole and stop sign on the North east corner. A traffic light fell into the roadway blocking the intersection.
Stringer was extricated from the vehicle by the Germania Fire Department. Both drivers were transported to the Atlantic City Regional Medical Center City Division for non life threatening injuries. Sye was issued a summons for careless driving.
Cologne Ave was closed between US RT 30 and Aloe Ave. Aloe St was closed West bound between Leipzig Ave and Cologne Ave. The Atlantic City Electric Co. and the Atlantic County Utilities repaired the traffic light and signs. The roadway was opened after approximately four (4) hours.

The three entrapments have not all occurred at that same intersection. They have just all occurred in the western portion of the township.
Has Valerie been arrested? She is responsible for Margaret's death!
