Absecon Police Investigating Armed Robbery Caught on Video at Sun Petro Gas Station

The Absecon Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on March 014, 2014 at approximately 03:52 hours at the Sun Petro Gas Station - 101 Absecon Boulevard. 
Surveillance footage captured two adult male suspects (one black, one white or light skinned) approach the attendant on foot. Both suspects were believed to be approximately twenty to twenty five years of age with thin to medium build. 
The black male suspect wearing black boots, jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt and flat brim baseball cap produced a handgun and forcefully removed several hundred dollars in cash and the victim’s cellular telephone. The white male suspect, wearing a yellow or orange jacket also forcefully removed the victim’s keys, cigarettes and lighter. 

The white male reportedly did not present a weapon. The accused actors then ran south on Shore Road toward Ohio Avenue. A witness reported that the accused subjects entered a dark colored sedan that had been parked beneath the train bridge. The vehicle reportedly fled south on South Shore Road at a high rate of speed. 

The Atlantic City Police Department provided assistance in the investigation. The case remains under investigation by Ofc. Dan Howell and Detective Leigh Gadd.
