On Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 7:02 a.m. the Absecon Police Department responded to the area of S. Shore Rd. and the White Horse Pike for a report of three missing juveniles walking in the roadway.
The juveniles were reported missing from the Atlantic County Juvenile shelter in Northfield on Saturday night October 19, 2013.
Upon arrival the two female juveniles were taken into custody. A third juvenile, a male, led police on a foot chase east along Rt. 30 and into the neighborhood along E. Illinois Ave.

The male was apprehended a short time later in a rear yard by Absecon patrol units. The female juveniles were transported back to the shelter and the male was lodged in Harbor Fields Juvenile Detention Center.
