Stockton, Hammonton, AtlantiCare Launch 1-Mile Walking Trail

Galloway, NJ – Stockton University, The Town of Hammonton and AtlantiCare have been working together on a get-fit initiative starting with the launch of a 1-mile walking trail which both starts and ends at the pavilion on the corner of Front Street and Bellevue Avenue.

The Blueberry Trail is strategically mapped out to take walkers through a scenic, educational, and fun route with the final stretch passing the downtown’s shops and eateries on Bellevue Avenue.

The launch will take place on Friday, Sept. 25 from noon – 1 p.m. at Kramer Hall, Stockton University’s instructional site at 30 Front St. An AtlantiCare Life Center trainer will be leading stretching exercises and providing tips prior to the walk and AtlantiCare will be giving away pedometers to the first 100 participants.

Guests will be welcome to join us on the approximately 30-minute walk, ending at Kramer Hall with light refreshments. The walking trail is a passive wellness initiative to motivate members of the community to get fit.
