Dynamo Gymnastics Team Brings Home Several Medals from Nationals Including Gold!

Allisa Taylor, age 8 

The Dynamo Gymnastics Team from Galloway traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the USAIGC National Championships from June 25-July 3, 2014.

Morgan Lancaster and Alissa Taylor both won national titles capturing gold medals while teammate Allie Hudson earned five medals including four silver and one bronze.

Copper, Ages 5-6
Allie Hudson placed 2nd All-Around (35.925), 2nd Vault (9.3), 2nd Bars (8.925), 2nd Beam (8.85), and 3rd Floor (8.85).

Morgan Lancaster placed 1st Bars (9.2) and 9th All-Around (35.075).

Alissa Taylor placed 1st Bars (8.675), 2nd Beam (9.35), and 5th All-Around (34.000).

Ella Hayek placed 4th Vault (8.80).

Hailey Mastro placed 3rd Bars (8.6), 5th Vault (9.1), and 9th All-Around (34.375).

Mikayla Houseworth placed 8th All-Around (34.675).

Bronze-Diamond, Age 11
Jayla McNamara placed 6th Beam (9.175), 7th Vault (9.325), and 10th All-Around (36.25).

Special notes:
(1) Alissa Taylor had the highest score on bars for her division in both the qualifying meet on day one and in event finals on day two of nationals.

(2) Morgan Lancaster is the 2014 state, regional, and national champion on bars.
