Pleasantville Man Found Shot and Killed Behind Home

PLEASANTVILLE – A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Pleasantville last night, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
The Pleasantville Police Department responded to Woodland Avenue after receiving a telephone report of shots fired at 9:49 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found Ahmad Molley, 28, of Pleasantville, lying behind a home on the 200 block of Hendricks Avenue, the victim of a gunshot wound.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene.
Molley was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center—City Campus, where he was pronounced dead.
Next-of-kin have been notified.
