The suspect, Michael Lagreca-Firrincilli, 40, of Galloway Township left the child’s residence at 1:00 am and failed to return.
With the assistance of Atlantic City Police Department, The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Child Abduction Response Team as well as The New Jersey State Police ROIC, police were able to determine Firrincili’s route of travel from Galloway Township to Atlantic City and narrow a search. A CODE RED notification, Facebook post and Twitter activation were posted with the vehicle information and a picture of the suspect and the child.
Within 15 minutes of the CODE RED Alert Township wide, a local resident and school board employee, Steve Bolli, recognized the suspect vehicle and called 9-1-1.
Another local resident and off-duty Atlantic City Fireman, Bob Goff observed the officers attempts to stop the fleeing vehicle and he blocked the roadway with his tow truck.
Galloway Police ordered Firrincilli out of the vehicle unsuccessfully. Ofc. Ronald Gorneau then smashed the driver side window of the vehicle and pulled Firrincilli from the car. Firrincilli was taken into custody and the child was safely removed from the rear passenger side by detectives.
The child was transported via Galloway Township Ambulance Squad to ARMC Mainland Division where she was evaluated for dehydration and released to the custody of the Department of Children and Families. Firrincilli was transported to ARMC Mainland Division where he was treated for his injuries.
Firrincilli was charged with Child Endangerment, Eluding Police and Resisting Arrest and his bail was set at $100,000.00 cash.
The Galloway Township Police Dept. would like to thank the residents for their continued support and vigilance in monitoring the CODE RED alerts and the social media sites which led to the safe recovery of this child.

While you could argue that this is news, there are equally good arguments against it. And why post a picture of the child with the story? It's obvious that she had already been found.
