Team of Three; Baldwin, Tilton and Dawson File for Seats on the Greater Egg Harbor Regional School Board

The Greater Egg Harbor Regional School Board may look a little different in 2017 after a team of candidates filed petitions for seats on the Greater Egg Harbor Regional School Board.  The Regional School District serves Galloway Township, Hamilton Township, Mullica Township and Egg Harbor City.

According to School Board Administrator Thomas Grossi the current seats of Marty Manno from Hamilton Township, along with Carol Houck and Vicki Hood of Galloway Township will all expire at the end of 2016.

But there are three new candidates running as a team that have filed petitions to become Board Members for the Greater Egg Harbor Regional School Board. Two residents from Galloway Township and one resident from Hamilton Township.

This year Galloway Township voters will see the names of Michael T. Baldwin, Sr. and Lisa Tilton on the ballot for General Election in November and Hamilton Township voters will see the name of Thomas Dawson Jr. on their November ballot.

Baldwin, Tilton and Dawson are running with one mission in mind; to bring Strength, Ethics, Integrity and Transparency back to the Regional School Board.  The students should be honored for their achievements and success and their education has to be top priority.

Baldwin, Tilton and Dawson also believe the residents need a safe school environment that protects the health and well-being of all the students and staff. They will bring open communication and discussions with the parents and guardians on students progress, development and success.

Most importantly Baldwin, Tilton and Dawson will bring the strength back to the Regional School Board and restore order and control with the Board, where it belongs.

General Election is Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

One of my most dear issues is: the Oakcrest HS colors, mascot and song as chosen by the 8th grade classes of 1959-1960. These candidates NEED to pledge their support for maintaining these 56 year traditions!!!!! Alpha '64 Aline Longworth Dix

Anonymous - I find it interesting that you hide behind a computer and don't even sign your name to your comments yet you want me to take you seriously. It's even more interesting that you feel the GEHR School Board is doing such a great job when everyone else sees the board as a pawns to the superintendent. By the way, thanks for divulging confidential information in your comment. I won't post that because that is the point of ethics. You must be a board member commenting.

If you would like me to take you seriously then reach out to me and tell me why you are so distraught, and sign your real name. My email address is on the site.
