Five People Injured After Head-on Collision on White Horse Pike

On July 2, 2016 at 9:14 p.m., Galloway Township Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on the White Horse Pike that involved two vehicles. 

A 2012 Honda Pilot driven by Yaya Sinon of Hammonton NJ was traveling east on US 30 when it changed lanes striking the passenger side of a 2007 Chrysler as it traveled east in the lane next to the Honda. 

The Chrysler was driven by Kyle Kotacska of Absecon. After being struck, the Chrysler crossed the center line of the highway and struck a 2015 Chevy Impala head on. The Chevy was driven by Robert Ferrara of Langhorne PA. 

Ferrara and passenger were transported to ARMC City Division for moderate injuries. Kotacska and passenger, Allyssa Berry were transported to ARMC City Division for serious injuries. Berry had to be extricated from the vehicle by Pomona Fire Company. Sinon was transported to ARMC Mainland for minor injuries. 

The highway was shut down for approximately one hour while the scene was investigated and vehicles/debris were removed. Sinon was issued multiple summonses. Ofc. Steve Garrison of the GTPD Traffic Unit is investigating 

Galloway Township Ambulance Squad, Pomona Fire Company, Regional Tire Towing, Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and Atlanticare Paramedics assisted in the accident.
