Interchange #41 of the Garden State Parkway will open on FRIDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2015 AT 5:00 am. Access to and from the Garden State Parkway via the Atlantic City Rest Area will close at that date and time.
Access to Jimmie Leeds Road will be routed to the new Exit #41 of the Garden State Parkway and commuters will NOT be able to access Jimmie Leeds Road via the Atlantic City Rest Area after 02/27/2015 at 5:00 a.m.
If a commuter were to inadvertently get off on the rest area instead of the new Exit #41, the only option will be to get back on the parkway and go to the next legal exits for a u-turn, which in the case of north bound commuters would mean Exit #50 in Burlington County as there is no legal u-turn until that exit.
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority will begin signage on the Garden State Parkway and Jimmie Leeds Road beginning this Friday February 13, 2015.

Dumb ass setup ,but that's the State for you.The Township should have demanded not to have this kind of setup.....
I think they did protest no longer being able to access Jimmy Leeds from the rest area but the Turnpike Authority ignored them and did what they wanted.
ITS JIM LEEDS ROAD ..............
We need another state trooper barracks like we need more debt
So does that mean you can no longer get off at rest area? Is there going to be food stores there? I'm confused!
Really? What is big deal? Get off at the exit instead of the Rest Stop. Damn! It might take 40 more seconds to get off the Parkway or it might not. It's Jim not Jimmie or Jimmy.
You people would bitch about a seat in Heaven.

The USPS calls it either W. Or E Jimmie Leeds Rd. For mail.
Technically it should be called James Leeds Road. Just get over yourself and accept that people in the western half of the township have generally referred to it as Jimmie Leeds as long as I can remember and probably for a long time.
There hasnt been food there in months
Actually depending on the sign look at for me growing up it was indeed Jimmie Leeds road and then now Jim Leeds
