Township Schedules Special Meeting to Discuss Tax Reassessments; Meeting Scheduled at Middle School

The Township has finally scheduled the long awaited meeting in order to discuss the recent tax issues and reassessments. 

At a previous Council Meeting, Mayor Don Purdy addressed the crowd which consisted of over 200 residents in hopes of explaining the recent tax increase and reassessment of property values. 

During that meeting, Mayor Purdy indicated a Special Meeting would be scheduled and Vital Communications, which is the company that performed the recent reassessment valuation, would be present to answer questions and assist residents. 


The meeting, as advertised on the Township's website is scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2014. Because of the attendance of residents expected, the meeting will take place at the Galloway Middle School Cafetorium at 6:30 p.m.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Galloway will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2014 in the Galloway Township Middle School cafetorium at 6:30PM located at 101 S. Reeds Road in Galloway Township. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the tax reassessments and a presentation by Vital Communications.
