Missing Egg Harbor City Woman Found After Law Enforcement Agencies Search

HAMMONTON – The rapid activation by Hammonton Police Department of local, County, and State emergency resources led to the safe recovery of a missing Egg Harbor City woman within 48 hours of receiving the report, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
Natasha Richardson was reported missing to the Hammonton Police Department on the evening of Tuesday, Sep. 9, 2014. She had last been seen the day before, in distress after an altercation.

Hammonton Police Department contacted the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, which helped coordinate a multijurisdictional search and investigation, mobilizing additional emergency resources.
Those resources included the Hammonton Volunteer Fire Department, K-9 Units of the Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department, and the New Jersey State Police Aviation Bureau—which provided helicopter support.
That effort resulted in the discovery of Richardson’s location, and her safe return yesterday evening, Sept. 11, at 6:45 p.m.
