Motor Vehicle Collision on Great Creek Road Sent Both Drivers to Hospital after Extrication

In a Press Release issued by the Galloway Township Police Department, two vehicles traveling on Great Creek Road at 1:51 p.m. collided sending both drivers to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, City Division.

Vehicle driven by Gerald Connelly, 29 of Egg Harbor Township, was traveling eastbound of Great Creek Road when he left his lane of travel and collided head on with a vehicle traveling westbound. The driver of the second vehicle was James Dinatale, 27 of Mays Landing. 

Both drivers were transported by EMS to ARMC located in Atlantic City for non-life threatening injuries. The passenger in Dinatale's vehicle, Peter Boruch 25 of Somers Point was treated and released on the scene. 

According to Police, Connelly had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Galloway Township Fire Department. The Road was closed for two hours.
