On November 30, 2015 at 5:27 p.m., Galloway Police were dispatched to The Family Dollar located on New York Road in reference to a reported burglary to a motor vehicle.
Upon arrival patrol met with the male victim who stated as he was exiting The Family Dollar he observed a white male, later identified as Aaron Kizer-Goff, 31 of Galloway, rummaging through his vehicle.
When the victim confronted Kizer-Goff he fled the scene towards Waterview Drive as the victim gave chase. When the victim returned to his vehicle he discovered that approximately $1,100 in cash and loose change was stolen.
Patrol and K-9 Units responded to scene and set up a perimeter in the area of The Family Dollar to begin a K-9 track.
During the search Officer James Mulholland located Kizer-Goff crossing New York Road and stopped him in front of The Smithville Inn where he was taken into custody.
Kizer-Goff was found in possession of all of the money that was stolen from the victim’s vehicle. Aaron Kizer-Goff was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle and theft.
Additionally, he was found to have an outstanding NCIC warrant out of Atlantic County. Kizer-Goff was lodged in The Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $35,000 bail.
