On November 24, 2015 at 12:41 p.m. Galloway Township Police responded to a serious motor vehicle accident involving four vehicles on the White Horse Pike and S. Fir Avenue.
According to Police a vehicle traveling westbound on the White Horse Pike changed lanes and rear-ended a stopped vehicle, sending that vehicle into oncoming traffic. The oncoming vehicle swerved just prior to the head on collision, side-swiping another vehicle.
The drivers involved in the accident were Camile F. Rohm – 73, of Brigantine; Luis Santiago Jr. - 26, of Trenton; Richard S. Jones – 77 of Galloway; and Jakob L. Ackerman – of Galloway, NJ.
The vehicles involved in the accident were a 2013 Honda CRV, 1993 Toyota Camry, 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1995 Jeep Wrangler.
Two of the drivers were injured and transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, City Division; Luis Santiago Jr. and Richard S. Jones. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police have issued a summonses issued forUnsafe Lane Change to Camile Rohm of Brigantine.
Galloway Twp. Ambulance Squad, AtlantiCare Medics, Pomona Volunteer Fire Company, NJ DOT, Denny’s Towing assisted in the accident.
