Patrol officer Alex Bennett stopped the black Mazda 3 after noticing this vehicle leaving the area of the closed businesses. After a brief investigation, stolen jewelry was located inside that vehicle.
Eventually a search warrant was obtained and executed on the suspect’s hotel room at the Casino Inn in Absecon City which lead to further evidence and recovered stolen property. The two arrested individuals are as follows:
Nicholas Provencher, 36 year-old male from Cheshire, Connecticut
Stella Vassiliou, 31 year old-female from Waterbury, Connecticut
Both suspects were charged with four (4) counts of burglary, theft and for being in possession of burglary tools.

-Jo Jo’s Pizza on 10/21/15
Both suspects were lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $50,000 full cash bail. Additional charges against these suspects are pending further investigation.
