On April 28, 2015 at 3:46 p.m., Galloway Township Police responded to a single motor vehicle accident on W. Duerer Street (County Rd. 561) and S. Frankfurt Avenue.
The driver, Algie Griffin, 31, of Landisville was traveling westbound on Duerer Street when the vehicle, a 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, left the roadway and struck a utility pole and overturned.
The driver which was the sole occupant of the vehicle was flown to Atlantic City Medical Center, City Division, for his injuries.
The road was closed for approximately 2-hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.
The Galloway Twp. Ambulance Squad, AtlantiCare Medics, Germania Volunteer Fire Company, and Penn-Star Medivac assisted.
Galloway Township Officer Kevin Costa is investigating the accident. No summons have been issued at this time, pending further investigation.
