Ridiculous. I guess Purdy used his political influence to get Arch a job in Absecon too. Galloway hires 2 Manager Assistants, pays Arch to work 5 days a week and Absecon can say $100,000 a year? What about saving Galloway money or does Purdy not believe in that? Lets get the unions in Galloway their contracts before shipping Arch off to a neighboring Town that should have hired Tom Henshaw. Oh wait, Purdy doesn't like Henshaw. How can we forget. Purdy needs to go. He can't even control his own town, now he's running Absecon?

Wonder if good old Arch will want to get rid of Absecon's Volunteer Fire Department too?

This guy needs to go back to the township he lives in.

Just when you thought it couldn't get worse? Maybe they can get a good rate on Manager/Administrator and Private "eye" to "NOT" do the internal investigtions in Absecon too. Just what Galloway needs, another group of employee's who are disgrunted with their employer, they won't give them a contract, but they'll give their mayor the opportunity to make more money.

Now apparently Galloway has hired an attorney. Anyone confirm or deny this and why did they hire one?

Council, after a closed session discussion, hired Edwin Jacobs, Esq., who is and/or was Mayor Don Purdy's personal attorney. Purdy abstained from the vote yet it is unclear if he recused himself from the closed session discussion.

The reasoning listed on the resolution is to consult with the Township Manager, Township Solicitor and Council on confidential and privileged information and if approved by council, to initiate legal action on their behalf.

Was Tilton Lawsuit discussed when the Township hired The Mayor's Personal attorney?

Per the Township Solicitor, Closed session was only limited to the other (2) two matters and not Tilton vs. Galloway. It was not discussed at all per the Township.

As you can see the resolution was prepared on advance however Council changed their mind the day of the meeting on June 25th.
