Police Investigate Man Shot and Killed at Woodlands Condos in Hamilton Township

HAMILTON TWP – A man was shot and killed early this evening in the Woodlands Condominiums in Mays Landing, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Diane Ruberton announced.
In response to a 9-1-1 call, Hamilton Township Police responded this day, Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at 6:33 p.m. to Ivy Bush Court in Hamilton Township for a report of a shooting.
Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad personnel, AtlantiCare paramedics, and Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit detectives also responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, police found an Atlantic County man, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:51 p.m. by AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center physician, Dr. Erban. An autopsy is pending.
The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Hamilton Township Police Department Detective Bureau continue the investigation.
