On October 5, 2016 at approximately 8:36 p.m., a purse belonging to a female victim, of Hammonton, was stolen from the back of her chair as she dined at the Assagio Restaurant.
The suspect walked in to the restaurant a short time before committing the crime. The suspect, later identified as Andrew Harder, 28 of Tuckerton, NJ fled the scene West on the White Horse Pike, dropping the purse, but keeping the victims Louis Vuitton wallet and its contents.
The area was checked by patrol officers and a K-9 unit. The suspect was eventually located and arrested. The wallet and all of its contents were recovered. Andrew Harder was charged with Theft of Moveable Property and Possession of CDS. Harder was released on summons, pending court.
Galloway Detective Kerry Bearman was the arresting officer.
