Galloway Man Injured after Crashing into Median and Overturning Car on the White Horse Pike

On December 18, 2014 at approximately 8:43 p.m., a single car motor vehicle accident occurred on Route 30 (White Horse Pike), east bound near Delilah Road. 

The vehicle, a 2004 nissan altima, operated by Russel Bergeron Jr., 36, of Galloway Township, struck the concrete median at the intersection just prior to Delilah Road. 

The vehicle then struck a light standard and traveled down the median, where it finally came to rest upside down in the east bound lanes.

Mr. Bergeron was helped from the vehicle by witnesses on scene and later transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Division by the Absecon Ambulance Squad for non-life threatening injuries. Mr. Bergeron was the only occupant in the vehicle.


Route 30, east bound, with the assistance of the Absecon Fire Department and the Pleasantville Police Department, was closed for approximately 2 hours. The accident is being investigated by Officer Southrey.
