Egg Harbor Township Police Search for Suspect in Late Night Armed Robbery

On Sunday, December 1, 2013, at approximately 11:40 pm, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Penny Point Park Apartments, in the Bargaintown section of the township, in reference to a robbery. 

Officer Michael O’Hagan responded and made contact with the victim, Terrell Pugh (20 years of age from Atlantic City), who stated he was in his vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by the suspect. 

The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded his belongings. The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and other belongings from the victim. The suspect then fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured in this incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7” to 5’8” in height, with a scruffy beard. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt or jacket and a black baseball cap. A perimeter was set up and a K-9 track was conducted but was unsuccessful.


The robbery is being investigated by Detective Richard Vogt of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau.
