Richard Stockton College Partners with Zipcar for Rental Services

Galloway Township, NJ- The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey today launched a new partnership with Zipcar, Inc., the world’s leading car-sharing network, to offer Zipcar services on campus.

The convenient transportation option is now available at an affordable rate, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for students, faculty, and staff ages 18 and older, as well as members of the local community ages 21 and over. 

New Dunkin Donuts Building Scheduled on Tonights Planning Board Agenda

On tonights agenda, Galloway Township Planning is scheduled to hear an application for a new commercial building on Jimmie Leeds Road.  That building is for a new Dunkin Donuts located at Jimmie Leeds Road and Sixth Avenue.

According to the plans, the building appears to be approximately 1,820 square feet. Currently two (2) single family homes are located on the site and will be demolished for this commercial development.

Galloway Township Calls for a Special Council Meeting to Introduce Ordinance for a $2,145,000 Bond

Galloway Township has called a Special Council Meeting for Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. The Notice for this Special Meeting was posted on the Township's website last night on Election Day.

The purpose of the meeting as described in the notice, is for the Introduction of a Bond Ordinance in the amount of $2,145,000 in associating with tax credits granted to Taxpayers for overpayments in the previous quarters in 2013 and appropriating the proceeds of such refunding bonds or notes to such purposes.
