I am so sick about this. I was so upset not only cause this little child was missing but my son and his wife also live on that part of Pitney and have an almost two yr old son. I'm praying for the family. What a tragedy.

So very sorry to hear this happened. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I do NOT know the circumstances and commenting on my own experience but as an inground pool owner, I was always obsessive in saying "Check the gates" repeatedly to the point where my family, visitors, workers at the house, etc got really annoyed with me. We have small children that live next to us. No matter what the circumstances were, that's what I first thought of that the baby climbed up steps to an above ground pool or a gate was left open. It could have even been a kiddie pool.. so very sorry for the family regardless the circumstances. Prayers....
