Galloway Police & K9 Catch Burglary Suspect; Multiple Charges

On July 21, 2017 at 4:05 p.m., Galloway Township Police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Magnolia Avenue.  The resident called 911 reporting a male was kicking the door to the residence in an attempt to gain entry.  

The male fled the scene when he observed the caller. Officers checked the area locating Joseph Stansberry, 31 of Galloway, who fled on foot from responding officers into a wooded area near the White Horse Pike and 4th Avenue.  

K9 Sgt. Winneberger and K-9 Rocky responded to the area and located Stansberry, taking him into custody.

Stansberry was charged with attempted burglary, assault on a law enforcement officer, two counts of resisting arrest, obstruction, disorderly conduct, possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Stanberry was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
