Car Stop Leads Galloway Police to Seize Drugs, Guns; Atlantic City Man Faces Several Charges

On March 20, 2017, at approx 3:40 p.m., Galloway Township Police stopped a motor vehicle being driven by Yahcor Napper (28 y/o of Atlantic City) on US Route 30/White Horse Pike near the intersection of 8th Avenue in Galloway Township.  
According to Police, the initial investigation revealed Napper had marijuana on his person.  Upon further investigation police located in the vehicle, a loaded Tauras .38 Special revolver, an Extar .556 caliber Semi-Automatic Assault Rifle with fully loaded extended capacity 30 round magazine, and a package of suspected raw heroin weighing over 5 ounces. 

Napper was taken into custody, charged with the following offenses, and lodged in Atlantic County Jail:
Possession of a handgun, Possession of an assault rifle, Possession of a high capacity magazine, Possession of a firearm for unlawful purpose, Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS), Distribution of CDS, Possession of a firearm while committing a CDS offence, Possession of marijuana under 50 grams, Careless driving, Unsafe lane change, Suspended driver, and Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. 

Individuals assisting with this investigation include officers from the following units/departments:  Galloway Township Police Patrol, Galloway Township Police K9 Unit, Galloway Township Police Detective Bureau, and Pleasantville Police.
