Police Investigating Circumstances at Casino Involving Infant Medical Emergency

ATLANTIC CITY – Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances that led to an infant being transported from an Atlantic City casino hotel to a hospital Monday evening in critical condition, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
Atlantic City Police and emergency medical services responded to the Bally’s Atlantic Hotel and Casino on Monday evening, May 25, 2015, at approximately 7:30 p.m. for a report of an infant having difficulty breathing. The 2-month-old child—whose identity is not being released—was airlifted to Children Hospital of Philadelphia, in critical condition.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Atlantic City Police Department, and the State Division of Protection and Permanency (CP&P) are investigating the matter.
No additional details are being released at this time.
