Republicans Have Preliminarily Won the Race for Galloway Council; County and School Results

In what has already been labeled as one of the most heated races to every hit Galloway Township, the results are finally here.

Republicans Frank Gargione, Robert Maldonado, Timothy Meadows Sr. and incumbent Mayor Don Purdy have preliminarily won the race for Galloway Council, according to the Atlantic County Website.

UPDATED: (Nov 4, 2013 at 8:59 pm): Galloway Police have released Driver and Occupant Information. See below for the the Update.

Galloway Township Police Department responded to a four (4) car collision at the intersection of US Route 30(White Horse Pike) and County Rt. 575 (Pomona Rd.) 

Preliminarily it appears that the Driver, 23 of Seabrook, NJ of a tractor trailer traveling Westbound on Rt. 30 failed to obey the red traffic signal at the intersection and collided with two (2) vehicles that were headed South on Pomona Rd. Subsequent to colliding with those two (2) vehicles, the tractor trailer veered into the Eastbound lanes of travel on Rt. 30 while still traveling westbound and drove over top of a 3^rd vehicle. 

Absecon Police Seek Public Assistance in Recent Burglaries Throughout After Arrest of Absecon Man on Burglary Charges

On Friday, November 1, 2013 at 04:15am while on patrol on N. Shore Rd. patrol units located a suspicious person shining a flashlight into vehicle windows. Upon making contact with the subject he was found to be in possession of numerous stolen items and the accused, Eric M. Ireland a 25yr old male of Absecon, was taken into custody. 

Mr. Ireland was found to be in possession of cash, jewelry, eye glasses, a cell phone, a wallet, a large amount of coins, as well as numerous other items.
