Galloway Superintendent of Schools Calls ACLU Lawsuit Against District, "Unfounded"

The school districts sued today have maintained these discriminatory policies despite the ACLU-NJ’s repeated warnings to revoke them.
These seven districts, located in three New Jersey counties, all require government-issued photo identification as a condition of enrollment, contrary to clearly established law. The ACLU-NJ’s lawsuits ask the courts to halt these unconstitutional school registration requirements immediately.

Galloway's own Dynamo Gymnastics Sends Several Qualifiers to Nationals in Orlando Florida

The Dynamo Gymnastics Team of Galloway competed in the USAIGC Regional Championships held at the Wildwood Convention Center May 23-25, 2014.
Teams from NJ, DE, PA, and NY competed en route to qualifying to the National Championships to be held in Orlando, FL at the end of June.
National Qualifiers are: Allie Hudson, Morgan Lancaster, Mikayla Houseworth, Aiyanna Schisler, Jayla McNamara, Emma Walsh, Ella Hayek, Alissa Taylor, Hailey Mastro, Cassey DeStefano, Kelsie Hartman, Cassidy Verderber, Alexa O'Brien, Alyssa Spencer, Samantha Salazar, and Alyssa Schisler.
Allie Hudson, Morgan Lancaster, Mikayla Houseworth, and Aiyanna Schisler all earned gold medals as they captured 9 regionals titles.

Police Seek Information on Bank Robbery in Hamilton Township
On June 7, 2014 at approximately 2:25 pm, the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the Ocean City Home Bank in the Shore Health Park on Rt. 40 in Mays Landing for a report of a bank robbery.
The suspect was armed and brandished a handgun at bank tellers while demanding money. Nobody was injured as a result of the armed robbery. The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

Ventnor Woman Sentenced to 20-years in Prison for Fatal Stabbing of Millville Man
MAYS LANDING – A 20-year-old Ventnor woman was sentenced today to 20 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of a Millville man in 2012, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
In the early afternoon of December 2, 2012, Ventnor City police responded to a 9-1-1 call for an unresponsive male who had reportedly been stabbed during an altercation with a woman. Upon arrival, police officers found Devon Devine, 20, of Millville, NJ, outside the residence of Tamasa Nobles on the 300 block of Wissahickon Avenue in Ventnor, suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
