Galloway Man Fatally Injured in Car/Motorcycle Accident on White Horse Pike

On March 27, 2021 at 2:50 p.m., Galloway Township Police Department responded to the area of W. White Horse Pike and Upas Ave for a report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries involving a motorcycle.  


The investigation revealed that a 2019 Suzuki GSX, being operated by Michael P. Giannetta, Jr., 34 of Galloway, was traveling westbound on W. White Horse Pike, approaching the intersection with Upas Ave.  A 2000 USPS mail truck, being operated by Jocelyn L. Moore, 49 of Egg Harbor Township, was stopped at the stop sign on Upas Ave southbound, at the intersection with W. White Horse Pike.  


Moore entered into the intersection and attempted to turn left onto W. White Horse Pike.  Giannetta’s motorcycle struck the front driver side of the mail truck, and was ejected from the motorcycle.  Giannetta was transported to ARMC City Division, where he succumbed to his injuries.  Moore was transported to ARMC Mainland Division for non-life threatening injuries.  


Police stated no summons have been issued at this, pending the investigation.
