On April 2, 2018 at 5:15 p.m., Galloway Township Police responded to a motor vehicle collision located on US Route 9 at the intersection of Biscayne Avenue.
According to Police, a Chevy Equinox, operated by Kyle Francis, 32 of Galloway, was traveling north on S. New York Road when it passed a series of vehicles in a no passing zone.
The Equinox struck the driver’s side of the Nissan Sentra as it turned left off of S. New York Road and onto Biscayne Avenue. As a result of the crash, Michael Cramer, 40 of Galloway, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center – Mainland Campus for non life-threatening injuries.
Kyle Francis was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Reckless Driving, and Improper passing. Additional charges are pending the outcome of further investigation.
