Police Arrest Two Men in Armed Robbery at Galloway Motel

On November 8, 2015 a female was robbed by two men, one of whom brandished a handgun while she was staying at the Budgetel Inn at 234 East White Horse Pike in Galloway Twp.  

Following a brief investigation, Galloway Detectives indentified and arrested Frank Tobin, a 33 year-old male from Mays Landing and an Anthony Palmeri, a 25 year-old male also from Mays Landing.  

Tobin was charged with Robbery, Conspiracy and Theft. Bail on Tobin was set at $100,000 full cash bail.

Galloway Man Arrested for Impersonating Military Personnel and Stolen Valor

On November 11, 2015, at 5:18 p.m., Michael Porter, 25 of Galloway was arrested by Officer Gary Brenner after Porter identified himself as a member of the US Army Military Police/ Airborne while he was dressed in military uniform in the area of a military base on Veteran’s Day.  

Porter was found in possession of a portable radio capable of receiving transmissions from several police departments and emergency dispatch centers.

Autopsy Reveals Man in Police Custody Died of Natural Causes

ATLANTIC CITY – An Atlantic City man died last night in an Atlantic City Police Department holding cell, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
Yesterday morning, November 9, 2015, a 41-year-old Atlantic City man was arrested by police on a non-support warrant, and lodged in the holding area of the Atlantic City Police Department at approximately 10:50 a.m.
A routine check of the detainee by police at 10:14 p.m. resulted in the dispatch of emergency medical personnel to the scene, and subsequent transport of the man to the AtlantiCare Medical Center—City Division, where he was later declared dead.

Galloway Man Arrested for Murder and Weapons Charges

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – A Galloway Township man was arrested this morning for the shooting death last night of a Mays Landing man, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
In response to a 9-1-1 call received at 7:29 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015, Hamilton Township Police, Township of Hamilton Rescue personnel, and AtlantiCare paramedics responded to a home on the 5900 block of Elmhurst Drive, Mays Landing. Upon arrival, police found Michael Black, 31, suffering from a gunshot wound.
