GallowayTwpNews.com has updated our Municipal Documents tab designed to maintain Open Government and Transparency on Galloway Township Municipal Government. We previously updated that portion of our website to include Council Meeting Minutes from 2012.
Now we have released Council Meeting Minutes from 2010 and 2011.

Galloway Township recently announced a request for quotes for the redesign of their Official Website. Part of the redesign according to the Township, is to modernize the website and provide the Municipal documents to the Public in accordance with Governor Chris Christies Best Practice Checklist.

Galloway Summer Camp Sign-Ups
Galloway Township will begin holding their annual Summer Camp Sign-ups this Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9-12 noon at the Veteran's Memorial Park which is the Camp Location of 636 S. New York Road.
Other Sign up dates include Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday March 19, 2013 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Weekly Sessions, members can pick and choose your weeks or Sign Up for the Entire Summer.
Camp Hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 3pm with early drop off at 8am or late pick ups.

Police Seek Hispanic Male Suspect in Attempted Child Abduction of Female Teenager
Galloway Township Police are looking for an Hispanic Male suspect in an attempted child abduction of a 14 year old female on March 6, 2013 at 8:30 am.
According to Police the attempted child abduction occurred on U.S. Route 9 near Chanese Lane in Galloway Township. The 14 year old female was approached by a Hispanic Male in his mid 30's. The suspect is reported as driving a newer model black in color BMW 4-door sedan.
The male suspect is described as approximately 5'04 to 5'06, stocky build with short-cropped black hair, mustache and a goatee. The suspect was wearing jeans and a blue jacket at the time.
According to Police, the suspect fled South on Route 9 in his vehicle after a brief struggle with the 14 year old female victim. The victim received minor injury to her foot.
Officer Steven Garrison of the Galloway Township Police Department is investigating the incident. Anyone with information should contact the Police Department at 652-3705.
