Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Gun and Drug Charges on Two Galloway Men

On November 1, 2018 at 1:20 A.M., K-9 Ofc. Lopez conducted a motor vehicle stop on Great Creek Road.  The vehicle was occupied by Russell E. Clark 4th, and Isiah X. Tolbert, both of Galloway Township.  During the course of a probable cause search, Tolbert was found to be in possession of a handgun loaded with hollow point ammunition.  A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of suspected marijuana. 

Tolbert was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of hollow point bullets and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.  A warrant was authorized by JMC Freed and Tolbert was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.  



Clark was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and released on a summons.  Clark was additionally charged with motor vehicle violations to include possession of CDS while operating a motor vehicle.
