NORTHFIELD – A man was found dead today outside a Northfield home, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
The Northfield Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to Virginia Avenue, Northfield, at approximately 11:00 a.m. today, Jan. 9, 2015, where a man had been discovered dead on the front lawn of a residence.
The victim has not yet been identified. An autopsy is being performed to determine cause and manner of death.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Northfield Police Department, and State Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.
