Galloway Township Going Live September 3rd with New Website

After months of pulling together information and design ideas, the Galloway Township Official Website (www.gtnj.org) will go live on September 3, 2013.

The Township entered into a contract with City Connections, of Barnegat, NJ, earlier this summer to redesign and update the website, making information easier for the public to review and retrieve. It will also allow the public quicker access to documents, forms and services.
The committee of Council Members Jim McElwee, Whitney Ullman and Brian Tyrrell oversaw the research and design of the new website. Councilperson Ullman stated, “It's been a long time coming, but finally Galloway residents and businesses will have an easy to navigate website full of the latest news, resources, and information the township has to offer"
“It is still a work in progress, but we wanted to get it up and online sooner than later,” stated Township Manager Arch Liston.
Residents are encouraged to call with any ideas and/or things they would like to see included on the site. They may contact the Township at 609-652-3700 ext 229.

UPDATED: Township Hires Class II Police Officers in Latest Round of Employee Hirings, Raises and Dismissals Released

Updated: September 4, 2014.
Class II Officers Henchy III and Mehlar, according to the original paperwork released by the Township were hired at $14.00 per hour, as stated in the original employment advertisement.

However, additional Personnel Action forms were released on Henchy III and Mehlar showed an increase to $20.00 per hour. We raised the issue of the discrepancy with Chief of Police Patrick Moran.
