Enrollment for Galloway Township's CodeRED Emergency Notification System Begins; Test to be Conducted

Galloway Township, NJ – November 26, 2013 - The Township of Galloway has contracted with Emergency Communications Network to license its CodeRED high-speed notification solution. The CodeRED system provides Galloway Township officials the ability to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire township.   

On Wednesday, December 11th at 1:30pm, Galloway Township officials will conduct a performance test of the CodeRED emergency notification system to determine how quickly notifications can be delivered to the entire community in case of an actual emergency.

Galloway Township Office of Emergency Management will be hosting a Local Emergency Planning Committee Meeting

The Galloway Township Office of Emergency Management along with the Atlantic County Office of Emergency Management will be hosting a Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) meeting. 
What is the LEPC?
The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) works under the local OEM to plan training and to mitigate safety concerns within the township. 
The LEPC is made up of representatives from Fire, EMS, Police, Public Works, Board of Education, and representatives from the community. The LEPC identifies potential risks that our community faces and seek ways to help minimize or mitigate the risks.
