Shoprite LPGA Classic Presented By ACER Announces Extensions With LPGA and Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club

The 26th staging of the tournament is set for May 26 – June 1 at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, NJ.

Galloway, NJ (March 13, 2014) – Wakefern Food Corp., the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club and Eiger Marketing Group (EMG) announced today contract extensions of the ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer through 2016.
Originally known as the Atlantic City Classic, the tournament began in 1986 and was officially changed to the ShopRite LPGA Classic in 1992 when Wakefern Food Corp. became the title sponsor. 

ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer Announces 2014 Tournament Dates

May 26 - June 1 at Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club

Galloway, NJ (December 3, 2013) – The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer officially announced the 2014 tournament will be Monday, May 26 through Sunday, June 1 on the Bay Course at Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, NJ. The best players from the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) will compete for a $1.5 million purse in the 54-hole, LPGA-sanctioned official event. 

ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer Generates $13.6 million in Direct Spending

Galloway, NJ – The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer held at Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club this year provided over $13.6 million in direct spending to regional businesses, according to an economic impact study by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute for Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (LIGHT) at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, in partnership with Atlantic Cape Community College’s Center for Regional & Business Research.

2013 ShopRite Classic LPGA Round 2 Results, Setting Final Field

According to the Final Results of Round 2 listed on the LPGA Website for the 2013 ShopRite Classic LPGA, Natalie Gulbis, Katherine Hull-Kirk and Lexi Thompson are listed among other Titleist Stars as being Cut from tomorrow's final round.
