UPDATED: Galloway Police Seize Cash, Gun and Over 4,000 Bags of Heroin from Galloway House

The Galloway Township Police Department concluded a month long investigation inclusive of detectives and patrol officers by arresting a black male subject for CDS and Weapons offenses. 

The Atlantic County Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a residence on the 700 block of East Ocean Avenue in Galloway Township.


According to police, Keegan V. Thomson, 29, of Galloway Township was charged with possession with intent to distribute 4897 bags of heroin with an approximate street value of $20,000.00. 

Thomson was found in possession of a stolen .9mm handgun out of Fayetteville, NC.  Galloway Detectives also seized $24,652.00 in cash from drug proceeds from Thomsons residence. 

 Thomson was charged with Second Degree Possession / Intent to Distribute Heroin  / Possession of a firearm for Unlawful purpose  / Possession of firearm by convicted felon / Committing a drug offense while in possession of a firearm, and Possession of a stolen firearm.

Thomson was released pending his appearance in court after posting bail set at $100,000.00 full cash. 

Galloway Detective Ro Latoracca, Galloway Detectives and Officers, and Atlantic County SWAT Team assisted.

    Who let him go? He posted bail. Probably through a bondsman. Not the police fault.

    It says he had to pay in full. He might be out now but he'll be back in jail soon

    Why in the hell would they give this guy bail.that gives this guy time to setup somewhere else.This is the guy that need to stay in jail

      Why did he get arrested again? What were his charges? He's stupid, out on 100,000 bail u think he'd lay low knowing he's got heat on him... Sum ppl just dont have brains now a days! Lol

    You guys honestly don't know what exactly what's going on... And my father isn't stupid he needed a way to get money he was confused... And sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Just saying : ) You see what it's like to live that life or actually have real life struggles...what my dad did ain't right however I know the real reason unlike you. And he did it for his children. I didn't live with him but I know who my dad is.
